What we offer
The Sensory Spot is a sensory friendly play space for all ages. We offer sensory tables, with themes that are changed out on a regular basis, textured surfaces that encourage independent play and creativity and tactile bins that are filled with multiple touch surfaces. We also offer comfort items such as weighted lap pads and blankets, noise cancelling headphones, comfortable seating, and blackout tents.
We fully embrace the neurodiverse community in a space that welcomes all abilities and backgrounds. We hope to create a community of families and individuals who are able to lean on each other for support and resources, and provide a space for all to feel safe and loved while freely expressing and exploring, and communicating with the world around them.
We have also carefully curated a space that emphasizes a positive caregiver experience. We have comfortable seating throughout the facility, and ensure a full line of sight no matter where you sit, so you know your guest can explore safely. We also encourage you to not pick up behind your guest, and instead enjoy your time, whether it be to relax, or fully engage in play. Our staff will ensure the tidiness and cleanliness of the area so you can focus on yourself first.
